Macedonia (F.Y.R) was represented in Kyiv by Jana Burčeska  (Јана Бурческа). Her song, Dance Alone, was presented on March 10. It's written by Joacim Persson, Alex Omar, Florence A. and Borislav Milanov.

The original version of Dance Alone was first as a video and later appeared on the promo.
A shorter Eurovision version was released on April 10.
